London Playback Theatre Company creates spontaneous, improvised theatre through a unique collaboration between performers and audience. We encourage people to share their real life stories and through the magic of theatre we bring those stories to life. Our tailor-made performances enliven events from conferences and training programmes to family and community celebrations that people will talk about with delight for years to come. Read more about what we offer… Come to our next public performance in any of the following months! Each performance is dedicated to a different theme concerning us as humans. For details of the shows go to our What’s on section. We look forward meeting you, listening to you and creating theatre as a response to your stories.

And what stories can we tell when we felt so off track… the puzzle so mixed up!

We invite your stories in another evening of surprising and soul-satisfying Playback Theatre.

19:30 to 21:00 (GMT)

New Diorama Theatre

15-16 Triton Street
NW1 3BF London

Women of the world today….. homemakers & activists, changemakers & traditionalists! Welcome to you and welcome to men and all those who share our lives on this lovely blue planet.

This evening of Playback Theatre explores our stories evoked by that title…

Witches and Bitches

Words with much resonance in history and fiction, politics and social action.

What have these words meant for you?

We have multiple feelings and responses to being called or named as such.

And some of us take pride in being such!

Let’s take this opportunity to stir that pot over the fire and make some good medicine together through the magical potion of Playback Theatre.

This evening we are at the cosy New Diorama Theatre – a short walk away from Great Portland St and Warren St tubes.

Our event is free of charge, and we welcome donations.

Do stay afterwards for a lovely cup of brew for convivial chat or perhaps ongoing debate….

Book your place on our Eventbrite page
