What we offer

You may be planning ways of energising an away-day or training programme or wondering how to ensure that a conference is a memorable event for the delegates. You may be looking for ideas to enliven a family event such as a wedding or civil partnership, anniversary or even a memorial service. Your community group or organisation might be thinking of ways to celebrate an anniversary or festival. Whatever event you are organising we can work with you on planning an innovative, lively, and creative programme to suit your needs. What happens in a typical performance.

Performances
We play your stories. Whether opening or closing a conference, marking life transitions, energising a training event, working through differences, or visioning the future, Playback Theatre offers an immediate, spontaneous and creative performance presentation. With impact! Using music, cloth and storytelling performances enable shared interests and themes to emerge – ‘red threads’ which provide a basis for increased understanding, greater insight, empathy and connection between everyone present.

Workshops

If you are planning an away-day or training event then you may wish to follow up a performance with group work or workshops in which participants have an opportunity to explore the themes which have emerged in the performance in more depth.Examples from previous workshops include: strengthening teams, working more effectively with differences and conflict, better listening and communication skills, increasing spontaneity and creativity.
Training
Whatever sector you work in, you may find that people who have experienced a Playback Theatre performance are keen to try it out for themselves. The skills required for Playback Theatre are life enhancing – spontaneity, deep listening and creative communication. These are directly transferable to personal and professional development making a dynamic and authentic contribution to the life of your workplace or organisation. We can work with you on how best to integrate this highly constructive approach to exploring difficult everyday issues, policies and problems.
